The “Seminar on Critical Technical Problems about Internal Arc Fault of Converter Transformers and Test Validation Scheme” was held in EETI
On June 27, the “Seminar on Critical Technical Problems about Internal Arc Fault of Converter Transformers and Test Validation Protocol” was held at the conference room of EETI. 17 experts from China Electric Power Research Institute, Hunan Electric Power Research Institute, Experts Group of State Grid Corporation of China, Department of DC Transmission Project of SGCC, Tsinghua University, and EETI, attended the Seminar.
All participating experts visited the EETI5*6500MVA impact generator system, the central control room of generator power supply and the relevant high-voltage test ports; they also conducted a detailed discussion on the problems related to the “Simulated Discharge Test of Ascending Flanged Base at the Grid Side of the Converter Transformer”.
After repeated discussions, the participating experts eventually reached a consensus on the test scheme. The Seminar smoothly completed the proposed agenda and then came to a close.
